4 Hugs a Day

There is a famous story of premature twin babies born a few years ago. One of the two was weaker and the doctors doubted she would make it. On the night they expected her to die, one of the nurses put her next to her stronger sister in the cradle. Immediately the stronger baby reached out and put her arm on her weaker sister. Although they both had tubes in their arms and noses, just being together was enough.
The next morning the nurses were surprised to find the weaker child was more alert. Within a few days her appetite had increased and she was growing. Both girls made it!
God never made us to be alone. We need others and we need to tell others how important they are to us. Hug your wife / husband / mom / dad / son / daughter / friend / relative today. Every day. One saying goes we need at least 4 hugs a day to survive!
